At the meeting of our trustees and members on 28th May 2023 one of our members complained about part of the alleyway up to St Nicholas Churchyard from Robin Hood Lane being blocked by overhanging vegetation and this being a hazard for visually impaired people. This is PROW15
We sent an email to Sutton Council regarding the need to cut back overgrowth on the Public Right of Way. One of the officers responded quickly and explained that the Highways department usually deals with PROWs but because some of it will be accessed from the Churchyard, the Parks department has informed their contractor IDVerde to tidy it up & cut it back.
They can't give a timescale at the moment and they asked to be kept informed about when the work was completed.
