The meeting was a great success. We reached an agreement with the parks team that they will create a draft management plan for the churchyard. This plan will outline all the improvements we collectively wish to make, including repairing walls, boundaries, managing trees, sightlines, lighting, and ecological aspects. We anticipate having the draft plan ready by September.
The finalized management plan, encompassing all our aspirations, will enable the council, along with the Churchyard Friends, to apply for funding opportunities. Once we have the draft plan ready, we'll proceed to connect with the church trustees and the diocese to keep them informed and involved in the process.
