We've had sight of the first draft of the churchyard management plan. It covers the legal responsibilities and stakeholders, ecological management, and maintenance of the historic monuments and structures in St Nicholas Churchyard.
The plan has identified the ecological features of the churchyard and it also sets out goals for managing the churchyard in a way that protects its ecological value. This might include things like planting native plants, reducing the use of pesticides and creating habitats for wildlife.
