Free Easter Egg Hunt & Family Heritage Activities

Spring is arriving in Sutton, and with it comes one of the most joyful community days of the year. Families of all ages are warmly invited to St Nicholas Church and Churchyard on Saturday, 4 April, for a Free Easter Egg Hunt and Family Heritage Activities between 11 am and 2 pm.

This lively and welcoming event offers much more than just an Easter Egg Hunt. It is a chance for children and adults alike to explore the historic church, discover hidden details, and take part in creative activities that bring the story of our local heritage to life.

A fun and creative afternoon for all ages

Throughout the session, there will be plenty to enjoy, including:

  • An Easter Egg Hunt in the churchyard
  • Opportunities to explore the church interior, spotting animals hidden in carvings and stained glass
  • Helping to decorate the church for Easter
  • Pavement art activities in the churchyard
  • Contributing to a large community artwork celebrating spring, hope, and togetherness

Whether you are visiting for the first time or returning as a regular friend of St Nicholas, the afternoon promises a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where families can spend time together, and children can learn through play and creativity.

Everyone is welcome

The Free Easter Egg Hunt and Family Heritage Activities are open to the whole community. No booking is required. Simply come along, enjoy the activities, and share in a joyful celebration of spring, heritage, and community spirit.

We look forward to welcoming you to St Nicholas on Saturday 4 April.
