Jeff Richards had a meeting this week with Mel and Tom, the site managers of the Beechtree Place construction site located on St Nicholas Way.
The Eagles from the old Rectory gates that guarded the entrance on West Street and were latterly on the maisonettes in Beechtree Place are safely boxed and waiting to be assessed by the masons. The site contractors, The Real Group, are going to take a set of HD images of all the statues to allow the masons to assess the work that needs to conserve or restore them.
